KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran journalist Tan Sri Mazlan Nordin died on Thursday. He was 86.
Mazlan, who was once chairman of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), died at 4.15 pm at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.
His son, Yuri Azhar, 38, said Mazlan was admitted to the medical centre yesterday after a fall in the bathroom at home. Mazlan leaves behind four sons and a daughter and four grandchildren.
Yuri said his father's remains would be brought to his sister's house at No. 14, Jalan Dato Abu Bakar 16/1, Petaling Jaya, before the burial. - Bernama
